How to Check Jamb Result 2020
There are two ways you can check jamb result: SMS and Online.
Online
Follow these steps to check Jamb result Online:
- Visit JAMB portal (website) result at http://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility/CheckUTMEResults via your phone’s or PC browser.
- Put your JAMB Registration Number/Email Address in the box
- Then click on ‘Check My Results’.
- Lastly, the portal (site) will show your result only if it’s ready.
SMS
This method requires sending message via your phone and you must have at least fifty naira on your mobile number. Simply send RESULT to 55019. Make sure that you use the same number you used during Jamb registration, if not, you wouldn’t receive any feedback.
The following are the responses you might recieve immediately after sending the SMS:
- ‘This phone number was not used for registration.” This happens when you use the number you didn’tuse during Jamb registration.
- You will get this when you use the right number “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows… (and the details will be provided).
- If a result is withheld, the response will be “Result Withheld.”
- If a candidate belongs to the category being given the benefit of the doubt, the message to the person will be: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you.”
- If you were absent during the examination, you would get “CANDIDATE ABSENT” as feedback
- A candidate that was ABSENT WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER also CANCELLED will be so informed.
- “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall” is the response you will receive for unauthorized access to the examination hall.
